Some of us decided to do this again this year too! This is awesome, how did you do this one?
Sounded like fun when I signed up. Now I'm wondering what on earth I'm going to paint every day. Guess I'll just start out REALLY simple. Thanks for the comment on the batik. It was done on rice paper with watercolor and hot wax. The light values, when dry, are preserved with liquid wax and you just keep painting and preserving successively darker values. When the entire piece is covered with wax, you remove the wax with newsprint and a hot iron. The results are usually nice, but I've had my share of duds.If you want more info on them, e-mail me. I can also recommend a couple of people who teach.
