Cobie - Sold
Watercolor - 8 X 11
What to paint when trying to get back into the flow? Something I love, so it's back to Cobie.
We adopted Cobie from a no-kill shelter when he was about three years old. He had spent more than half of his life there.
Like people, dogs come with issues. At least this is what we discovered after having to sit in the corner with him for the first two weeks of obedience class. After the second series of classes and a lot of time with a private trainer, Cobie has come a long way. He's now a very relaxed guy.
Cobie's been anxious to go plein air painting with us in this stunning Oregon landscape. He was a trooper during our move. It wasn't his fault he got carsick in Chicago. We hope to take him out painting soon.
It's not unusual to see plein air painters around town. Here are some photos taken of local artists during the Portland Art Museum outdoor invitational painting event last weekend.
