Our friend Elizabeth joined us for dinner on Thanksgiving. She brought the most amazing huge appetizer plate, complete with delicious dips, crackers and fresh fruit, AND a couple of bottles of Beckham's Oregon Pinot Noir.
These persimmons and the orange were all that was left. Thank you, Elizabeth.
My favorite workshop ever was offered by Leslie Saeta in 2011. My opinion is based on the talent and skill of the instructor, individual attention given by the instructor, and a safe, spacious setting. Of course, lots of giggles and a little goofing off doesn't hurt.
I had a lengthly review of her workshop at the side of my old blog which disappeared with the blog. Leslie has had such a positive effect on me, though, that I'll rewrite one soon. And I'll add lots of photos.
For those of you who know her work, you can see her influence above. This was my reintroduction to palette knife painting.
