30 - 30 Challenge - Day 17

Oil with Palette Knife - 6 X 6 - Sold

One of the nicest surprises about living in Oregon was discovering that we were so close to Willamette Valley wine country.

A Christmas season field trip yielded a few bottles for the wine rack and a ton of ideas for paintings.

A photograph cannot capture the stunning beauty of this Oregon landscape.  I'm so thankful I live here.

  1. I love your colors and fantastic composition in this painting! My parents used to live in the Willamette Valley in the early 1950's, and thought it was the most beautiful place in the world!
