Thursday is my favorite day of the week because Tim and I usually attend the Alla Prima Portland breakfast meeting in Multnomah Village.
Following today's meeting, we went over to the Oregon Society of Artists meeting and listened to artist Ruben Arizpe Sr's presentation on "Drawing from Your Mind's Eye." He talked about the importance of the structures of art (line, shape, value, texture and color). You could have heard a pin drop.
After that, we swung by the Cullen house. Unfortunately, Edward and Bella weren't home, so we trotted off to the Washington Park Rose Garden and basked in the sunshine.
There were more blooms than I had hoped for.
It was a really nice day.
