For My Artist Friends

A few years back, I stumbled on a great art marketing book called "I'd Rather Be in the Studio" by Alyson Stanfield.   The book has received off-the-charts reviews on Amazon, so I'm not the only one who loves it.

Guess what?  Alyson has an awesome blog, too.   And it's chock-full of really valuable information just for you!

Thought I'd share this goodie with you:

  1. Thank you Chris for sharing this interesting link!

  2. Hi Chris! I had a wonderful time this morning drinking my early cup of tea and watching all those videos. I love Vladimir Volegov and his video is a course in itself. I liked the Benavent video also, too bad we couldn't see the finished painting but I went back on Google images and found plenty of others. Thanks for sharing Chris :)

  3. You're welcome. Hope some of us can figure out how to do a video. I learned a lot from reading Alyson's comments.

  4. I agree - its great book Alyson wrote.
I enjoyed some of these videos and like Helen, I went and followed up online.
The video process is interesting. I did okay when I was by myself with a good camera, but really needed someone to switch it on and off. Also I ran out of memory once and battery another time and had no idea. So I recommend help.
Thanks for the interesting post, Chris.
