Lost and Found Blog

We're moving again.

After a cross country move from Michigan to Portland, Oregon four years ago,  we have decided to go farther south to Eugene, Oregon.

Eugene is a much smaller town (pop. 160,000), a college town (University of Oregon, home of the Ducks), and ranked as the #1 U.S. City for Hippies.   If you're curious about life in Oregon, here's a cute article about why people love it here:   Living in Oregon

Eugene is a city of arts, outdoors and organics.   And there is a storage unit in Eugene where every art supply I own sits in boxes.

We're hoping to get our house on the market within the next few weeks, and are still scrambling to find a house in Eugene.  Looking forward to posting our studio progress after the move, and to getting back to art and blogging.

    2. I came back to read the article because I didn't have time before. I'm putting Oregon on my list of places that Jim and I are going to travel to. I think I've fallen in love with the Painted Hills. I'd never even heard of them before. They look gorgeous. I also wanted to let you know that I like your watercolor sketch.

  22. Dearest Chris, I went through a very long and deep depression in February that lasted longer than a month. I have been thinking of you and I had actually stopped blogging for a while but I am back now; however, I only make 3 posts a week and not daily as I used to. I hope that your move goes well and that you will be happy where you are and in whatever you do. Sending you much love and hugs.

    1. So sorry for the late reply to your message, Linda. We've been out of town - no smart phone here.
Relieved you got through those darkest hours in February. Depression is a hideous thing. I've experienced it twice in my life and know you can't just snap out of it or "will" it away. Welcome back!
Bet your friends are missing your daily blog entries (I am), but 3 posts a week from someone who puts so much time and effort into each post is still very generous! I'm looking forward to getting reacquainted with your blog (& the blogging world) after our move is over.
Wishing you every possible wonderful thing in your life, Linda. Much, much love back to you!!

    1. Helen! Hi!!!! So good to hear from you!
Have to get reacquainted with the blogging world. I've not been on the computer much. We having been bouncing around rental apartments/houses because we sold our home & can't find one with studio space that we can afford. All of my art supplies are in storage, but we finally are able to head over there to pick up a couple of things. Will head over to your blog later today. Miss you, too!!!
