Friday Freak-Out

The Scream - Edvard Munch

This is me after having endured TV, radio, and internet news since the political primaries.  I'm up for a quiet, non-partisan, non-toxic weekend - just ONE weekend.

Hope you'll join me.

    1. Thanks, Sadie.
I thought this photo was one of Munch's original four or five versions of The Scream. At any rate, it conveys my mood this morning.
The whole world could do with a bad news-free respite. I imagine that it what heaven is like (only on an eternal basis).
Wishing you the best weekend ever, Sadie!

  6. We hear ya - I hardly ever hope for this, but hope the Super Bowl stuff drowns it out.

  7. So true.....seems like the world is spinning so fast right now. Hang in there! As my Mother used to always say, "This too shall pass"...Things would be better for me if we could get back on the daily walks with my dogs. But geez...........still freezing temps with ice (guess there's no excuse for not going to the gym, though..hmmm...) .....Anyways, things will get better- I just know it!

    1. Thanks, Laurie. Sorry to hear you're still in that Michigan deep freeze. We had an ice storm and some snow a few weeks back, but we're up in the 50's again - rain off and on.
      And your mom was right.

  8. You are so right! Sometimes it's hard, but must be done! Thanks that we have our work for diversion and getting lost in the moment!
