"Peace" - journal postcard

Here is a page from one of my journals using a glue gun stamp made earlier this week.

This particular journal is an "ideas"  journal.  It is used for inspiration and is filled with favorite color palettes, different types of composition, and project ideas.

I usually work in it on days like today, where it's hard to concentrate on a single piece of artwork.

.  .  .  .  .

Unfortunately, the offer we placed on a house earlier this week wasn't accepted.
Hope to find something this weekend.

The way your glue gun stamp is used...
And the idea of an idea-journal is great as well!
    How big is that?

  8. The effect of the glue gun stamp is really great, so it looks like a Japanese fond! Very beautiful postcard!
I wish you so much, that the search for a house soon finds a happy ending. It costs a lot of nerves to be disappointed again and again ...

  12. This is wonderful! I've made a number of glue gun stencils and they are so much fun to work with. Gosh, the house hunt continues. Buyers are facing the same thing here in Austin.

  13. Thanks, Kali. I would like to keep making the stencils.
Yup, the housing market is unbelievable across a lot of the country. I'm resisting leaving Eugene, but we may not have any other choice.
