Cheetah - Watercolor Batik - 18X24

Here is a video of artist Ellen Brenneman doing a painting of a cheetah on Yupo paper.   Looks like fun!

    I have a love hate relationship with yupo. love the effects you can get, hate how easy it is to ruin what you have made :p

    This is amazing. Really great how you've done this so well.

  7. Love your batiks - and love the big cats (just stayed up past midnight last night watching a program on Tigers narrated by David Attenborough! Lovely creatures. Mama tiger had 4 cubs!

  13. You have shown the Cheetah before and I still remember this beautiful picture! With my mouth open, I looked at it with astonishment, and I thought I would like to be able to do this!
    The video is so fascinating, this painting process, these great tricks that it applies, just great! Most of all I admire the so real beautiful eyes ... boah! But you, Chris can do it just so well!

      We have moved into a small house, but are at the mercy of a contractor & workers who do not show up everyday. It is a big mess in here at the moment, but it is good to be out of the rental. Hope to get back to blogging next week.
