This is beautiful, Chris! I love the colours, details and feel in this one.
Thank you, Linda!
Nice work...this challenge is tough, glad to see everyone still working at it!
Thanks, Susan. You make it look easy!
Hello Chris,A very wonderful paint of this tough woman. She looks good.Well done!!Kind regards,Marco
Thank you, Marco!
Sassy girl! I like the motion you created.
Thanks, Pattie. She WAS sassy (& a bit tipsy).
I love how you paint gouache. Gorgeous hair of fire and strong figure...
Thank you, Martine.
Love this ( Scottish or Irish ? ) figure , she looks like a strong woman , great colors and attitude.
Scottish - met her at a Highland festival. She was quite a character.
Love it. Hope to see more people paintings during the challenge.
Fun gouache painting Chris - got some tubes of it awhile ago and need to begin sketching and messing around with them. Do you have a theme for your Jan2017 30/30 challenge?
No, no theme, Teri. That sure would have simplified things. It's a crazy month around here. I can't paint everyday, but I hope to get 30 done.
I love this....very unique. It's full of movement for sure!
Thanks, Laurie Mueller!
Thank you, Regine!
You are amazing, Chris, and the detail you put into your drawings/paintings makes the picture come alive.Have a beautiful day! Hugs!
Thanks, Stephanie. Blessings & hugs!

Hop I like this one full of vitality! Nice colors too.
Like everyone else who commented, I love the movement of this painting. I also think Pattie's word "sassy" was the most fitting description of the girl's attitude - at least the way I see her. Plus, I get a kick out of the fact that she was tipsy:) Keep going!
Haha! She was VERY tipsy, but very sweet. I remember her husband encouraged her to leave after her performance.
Beautiful Chris! Like everyone else I like the energy and movement of the figure.
lots of movement, like she was caught dancing :D
Amazing painting Chris. I give you so much credit doing this challenge. I could never paint that fast. Lol. You're so talented.. Beautiful colors and love the design in her outfit...
Thank you! But, no, Hilda, I'm not painting fast - usually behind more than once during the challenge, but manage to catch up.
Gorgeous! (and she knows it)
Haha! You're right, Lisa!
so nice to see this work! You are GOOD!
Thank you, Sue!
Her hair is my fav part i have a love of wild red hair in paintings. I think it stated looking by at the Pre-Raphaelites work of Rossetti and his red headed model, Lizzie.
Thanks, Julie! Bet the Celts had something to do with all that wild red hair in Italy.
